Bitchfest

It's not kind, it's not honourable. But damn it felt good; when a bunch of guys get together and just bitch about everything. The rules are simple; no need for what u're saying to be accurate or even true, as long as it's funny and not too out of point. Today's session was mostly hyperbole, but I enjoyed it thoroughly simply because it gave me a much needed break.

It's only been 2 days into clinics, and already I'm feeling damn overwhelmed. From all the myriad problems cropping up, to the sheer stress(self imposed) and the niggling feelings that I'm not doing enough, that I don't know enough. Add to that SGH's vast size and horrendous organisation of case notes, and there's a truly potent mix. And to top it all off, an enormous proportion of my good friends are all in other hospitals; not just in other hospitals but even doing the other posting altogether. Bloody system.

I'm getting really tired of having to shoulder others' burdens. Even during the hols I had to chase behind you, pick up your slack. Now school's started, and still u give me this kind of nonsense. You aren't the only one, of course, but the fact that this has been going on for years beyond counting really pisses me off.

For now, all I want is a chance to rest and recover some energy. And a bit of time to myself would be pleasant as well(not too much though, I don't function well alone) I know, however, that this isn't going to happen anytime soon.

And would the F@%^-ing mouse please stop acting up???
