Thoughts

This has been a week of many heart to heart talks; a fact for which I'm profoundly grateful. Maybe it's not that amazing that we think so similarly; because that's one of the things that makes for such good friendship. To the one whom I called on Mon (one of the longer calls I ever made haha) rest assured you aren't alone in such thoughts. I have them too...

More good stuff yesterday, 3 solid hours of injury free soccer. Pity there was a minister's talk which forced us to rush there without even dinner, but more interesting stuff thrown up there(and not by the minister either). It's a reminder that my judgement may be wrong not just because I'm too blur to see it; but sometimes they choose to present me with a different face from others. That was a startling revelation, and not one entirely pleasant.

Today, while it failed in the initial promise of an early day; was still fantastic for a familiar reason. We ended up rushing to TTSH halfway thru the day, but the tutor was quite inspirational, and it gave me a chance to catch up with all my dear friends over there. Now more than ever I've come to detest this particular rotation. It felt damn good to see all of you again, and to have that post dinner talk (doubt u 2 clowns read this though). It's amazing what a difference it makes; where once I used to look forward to going to sch everyday, now the only day I look forward to is tuesdays and weekends. Each day seems to take more out of me, and these are the only times left to recharge. Sigh...

Surgery is much to my liking; whether they want me is another issue. But for now, it's lacking the most important ingredient; only partially alleviated by my 3 cg mates(1 small cg and 2 slightly larger cg haha) who're making life tolerable at the moment. Otherwise, as our esteemed medsoc prez would say, I'm ready to quit and go sell vegetables already.
