KFC

Tonight deserves a post, definitely, while the memory is still fresh. On the surface of it, a relatively unremarkable evening. Some of us M2s around decided to gang together and order in kfc for dinner, and we all sat and ate together. Talked about all manner of things, microB and neuro conspicuously absent from them. Took a photo of us, made promises to continue mugging together like that in the years to come. And all proceeded to go our separate ways back to mug again.

Except, as usual, that words do not do justice. The atmosphere I can safely say was truly amazing, and one that has been sorely lacking around here for longer than I care to remember. Tonight, we were not a bunch of disparate people thrown together by circumstance, we were a group bonded together by the time we spent and the things we've gone through. Corny, trite, but heartfelt all the same. And so here's a massive thank you guys; Pearlly, Ben Khoo, Claris, Jiawei, Siying, Xiaoke, Melvin, Ouyang, Larry. There were others around too, but you guys are the ones that made this simple evening something I wanna remember.

Here's to many more such times ahead.

It's sad how this place will be torn down in a few months time. Why is it that nearly every single place that holds fond memories for me is no longer the way I remember it? From SCPS, to old RJ, and now this. Damn sad lah...
