Grad dinner

Afraid I don't have nice group shots yet; so here's a picture of the Edinburghers! =) will never forget that place, or our times together...

I won't deny I had some trepidation about grad dinner, given a few key facts: 1) i was to be one of 3 clowns who dressed up, and probably laughed at 2) the timing of the dinner, when everyone's thinking of work and hence ppl likely to pon 3) the fact that it was organised rather last minute, which kinda amplified the earlier 2 fears.

As always, our batch proved me wrong and I had an absolutely fabulous time yesterday. It has been a long long time since I last felt "damn I want to go back in time and experience that again!"; the last probably being somewhere around the time of OT2, but this morning upon waking up that's exactly how i felt.

Walking around, talking cock, taking photos and exchanging hugs (and 1 massive taupok which i wisely stayed out of), it just brought back to me how much these last 5 years have meant. Specifically, how much the people who have been with me for these 5 years mean to me, as I was reminded of how long I have known some of you (from 19 years to less than a yr!), and what all some of us have been through. Going home, it reminded me strongly of prom at RJC, more than half a decade ago, and I felt a keen pang of sadness thinking that this is probably the last time we will do something like this.

So to all of you, my dear friends, heartfelt thanks for our great times. Looking forward to keeping those friendships going as we all start work!

Only glitch was the absence of some of my dearest friends(including my elusive cgmate! haha); who have been by my side since RJ days; missed u guys there... Ah well.

The quantity and quality of my writing has already been on the decline for a while; with HO-ship, i anticipate it dropping even lower. In a way, i guess its a gd thing for only the people who really care still bother to drop by here, but just warning u guys first heh.

Good luck to all e new HOs!
